Dr Jorge Sousa
Jorge Sousa is an accomplished economist with a degree in Economics, complemented by a postgraduate degree in Marketing, an MBA, and a Master’s degree. He is in the process of completing his Ph.D. in International Relations at the University of Lisbon. His professional journey includes roles at Renault, BBVA, BNU, Banco Mello, and BCP, where he contributed to marketing, finance, credit, trade finance, and research departments.
He has offered consultancy services through OLAE - Desk Lusophona Investments and BN Angola and has shared his expertise as a lecturer at Universidade Lusófona. Since 2015, he has served as the President of CCIPGB (Chamber of Commerce of Guinea Bissau), spearheaded the CCIP Senegal in 2017 (now closed), and holds the position of Secretary-General at CCI (Chamber of Commerce of Panama). His international engagement extends to activities with CCIP across China, Hong Kong, Brazil, and São Tomé.
