The International Conference on Alcohol, Drugs and Road Safety (ICADTS) brings together world experts from a multidisciplinary perspective in key areas. This world conference will discuss the contribution of multiple interventions associated with research in the fields of safety, public health, traffic and transport psychology, law, medicine, economics, law enforcement, public policy, training and education, pharmacology, toxicology, forensic science, intervention, and rehabilitation related to driving under the influence.

Alcobaça is located in the Central Portugal region, specifically in the Oeste (West) district.It’s known for its rich history, beautiful landscapes, and impressive architecture.
Alcobaça was recognised in 2019 by UNESCO as a member of the Cities of Learning Network. Located in the Oeste region (one hour from Lisbon), in the historical province of Estremadura, this city grew along the valleys of Alcoa and Baça, from which it derives its name.
With a magnificent location between the mountains and the Atlantic coast, the soul of the city of Alcobaça is deeply defined by the monumentality of the brilliant Alcobaça Monastery, a masterpiece of Cistercian architecture. A World Heritage Site since 1989, the Monastery of Santa Maria de Alcobaça or Royal Abbey of Santa Maria, founded in 1153, is one of the largest and best-preserved abbey complexes of the Cistercian Order in all of Europe.
